That's how long I had to create this skirt after my daughter came home and said, "I have a concert this week, and I need a long, black skirt". Black skirts aren't easy to find for tweens, but LONG, black skirts are nearly impossible to find.
Anyway, I decided that I would have less money and stress in making her a skirt than in trying to find one on the internet and hoping it actually showed up before the concert.
